One of the great mysteries in life - what is the perfect mascara? My answer is always the sameâ€¦.depends on what kind of lashes you want! Believe it or not, mascara has joined the technological revolution. It has changed from wax based to gel based formulas and the traditional brush wand is gone. What's the difference to you? First, gel is more flexible and does not flake off; second, it lasts longer; and third, the new wands can give you exactly what you want - either separate, long lashes or a thick false lash look. My recommendation for the first look is Cover Girl Lash Exact and for the falsies look, Maybelline Lash Stylist. Both are available at the drug store and don't cost a fortune. I'll leave you this week with some fabulous tips: when applying mascara, always tip your face way back when looking in the mirror so that you're not left with black dots on your eyelid; and if you have bangs, blow dry your hair before applying mascara to prevent it from melting & clumping.
