OK...I confess.... I am a makeup junkie. But as a Professional Makeup Artist, I feel that I can legitimize my cravings for all things "Beauty" because I have to know-it-all, sample-it-all, see-it-all because of my work. I am particularly obsessed with "TOP-10-Beauty Lists".
I realize that each season brings its own trends and moods to the Fashion/Beauty world, and yet every Fall and Spring there they are..
“THE LISTS". The claims in each beauty article are that they have the Top 10 Beauty Products that will somehow make your life better, take 10 years off your face, get rid of those cottage cheese thighs you've been lugging around for 15 years, eradicate those dark circles under your eyes and of course get rid of those wrinkles and plump your lips while you’re waiting in the car pool line!

I am always very pleased with myself when I find I have already invested in, and own most of the products on these lists, that they are already in my obscenely crammed makeup case...and yet a little disappointed too, that there was no miraculous beauty discovery for me to find and really impress my clients with!

These lists are comprised of products that are showered (freely I might add) on beauty editors everywhere, by the people who advertise in their magazines...for an "unbiased" opinion that will make a list or at least an editors' recommendation.

Most women would be far better off taking a makeup lesson occasionally to better their technique which would dramatically improve the end result no matter what product they are using!
Having said that, I thought long and hard before coming up with my own Favorite Top 10 products.... All my faves (and I have a lot more than 10) have been tested and applied to the many faces of my friends and clients and I can personally attest to their fabulousness!...At least they are my Top 10 Favorites THIS season!

1. LANCOME.BiFacil Eye Makeup Remover...Takes EVERYTHING off!
2. MAYBELLINE. Lash Stylist Mascara...Makes yours look fake..thick and won't smudge!
3. ARMANI. Retouch Concealer ...stays where you put it...won't cake under your eyes
4. CLINIQUE. Cream Shaper Pencil for eyes...Water resistant, smooth, no tugging, gorgeous colors
5. BOBBI BROWN.Gel Eyeliner...You can cry at a wedding, or go swimming..this stuff stays put..glides on!
6. ARMANI. Foundation...2 formulas...Best foundation anywhere ever..for every skin type
7. YSL. #2Pink/Gold Lip Gloss.... Stunning color, No icky taste, looks great by itself or on top of any lipstick.
8. TRISH McEVOY. Eyeshadow...Every single one is perfect, stays the day, rich gorgeous shadows
9. MAC. Bronzer in "Bronze" lots of different colors but this one won't make you orange.
10. ROC.Enydrial Lip Repair...Now THIS is a great Lip Balm! Heals chapped dry lips overnight!
